Important Dates

Date	Description
September 21	Potential candidate election packets available on myMT
September 28	Completed potential candidate packets are due by 4:00 p.m. on myMT
September 30	Candidates eligible to run for Executive and Senate positions will be announced by this date. Eligible and non-eligible candidates will be notified via e-mail.
October 6	Candidates’ mandatory meeting 6:00 p.m. in Student Union 201
October 8	Candidate banners due by 4:00 p.m. in the CSIL Office (Student Union Building 330)
October 9	Candidate campaigning can commerce starting at 12:01 a.m.
October 19	Voting opens at 10:00 a.m.
October 22	Voting closes at noon
October 23	Homecoming Court Election Results posted by 4:00 p.m. outside of Student Union 330 & 306 & on SGA social media.
November 7	MTSU Homecoming Football Game – MTSU vs Western Kentucky University

Students may protest an alleged violation of the Electoral Act by completing a complaint form.
