2026 Big Event Information

Food scarcity is a leading problem in Middle Tennessee. With no intervention, over 10% of Tennessee residents will face food scarcity this year. Our community needs your heart, your time, and your support. The MTSU Student Government Association and the Office of Student Organizations & Service  have partnered with Meals of Hope and invite all students to participate.  The event will take place in Student Union 330 (CSIL Office) on March 25, 2026 from Noon – 4:00 PM for the annual BIG Event as we dive back to MTSU’s deep roots of community service and pack 15,000+ meals to distribute to hungry families and food pantries across Middle Tennessee.

How to Volunteer

Students will volunteer for a 30 minute shift between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM.  

Steps for Registration

1. Go to BIG EVENT REGISTRATION 
2. Scroll for “MTSU’s Big Event”
3. Pick the shift you wish to work.
4. Login w/FACEBOOK or create account.
5. Edit your profile & get ready to volunteer!
6. Invite a friend!
